Jacob and Jonah had a joint b-day party this year. I know I know, it is not close to either of their birthdays...well, That's how it is sometimes! Jacob wanted a swim party. Since he has a fall birthday, that has never been possible. This year he really really wanted one, so, he opted to wait until summer for his party. The boys also decided that they wanted to do it together so, the last Friday before school started it was!
The theme was Angry Birds. There was swimming, 3 games of capture the flag, and an outdoor movie of TRON. (Can you tell they were in charge of the theme...Swimming, capture the flag and Tron are not the first things that come to my mind when I think Angry Birds...oh well!)
The boys all had a great time. They were so into the movie that none of the boys were talking at all! They loved it.
Various party shots. Yes the food is all covered up to keep the flies off...we took the covers off when the boys finally decided to eat. We had a really fun game of "shoot the pigs" set up with a sling shot and everything...but we did not have time for it. Oh well, my kids enjoyed playing the next day.

A gaggle of boys in the pool. This was really the easiest party ever. The older boys and younger boys had a blast together. Everyone was just happy the whole time. The boys were having so much fun playing that we did not even have time to open the presents! Jacob and Jonah tore into them after most of the guests had already left. All in all it was a great party, and a great end to summer.
