We are half way through our Little League season. We seem to have somehow survived another year of two boys playing baseball. As luck would have it we have two Cubs, just different divisions. Don't they look cute in their uniforms?
"I got 'whipped' off" (still working on the "R" sound), is Jonah's claim after almost every game. Usually in reference to batting order, or a bad pitch. You get the drift. He also used to come home from every game and claim, "I almost got the game ball, but ____ got it". That complaint has abruptly stopped. (Thank heavens) Since he got the game ball! The best part was that Uncle Mark and Uncle Michael and Ericka were here to watch him in all his magnificence. The Linford 'athletic gene' runs deep.
Jacob is surviving kid pitch. He has managed not to get hit by the crazy out of control 9 yr old boys pitching. He plays catcher and first base, and LOVES it!
Rebekah loves the games because that means ring pops at the snack bar. Have I mentioned that she is a bit like me???

I love Jonah's ears. Adorable...and the "whipped off" comment made me laugh so hard.
Were you insinuating something about our genetic disposition to be athletes??????
Yes Carrie, we all got "whipped off" in that area.
Jacob and Jonah look studly.... I played catcher during my little league glory days.... it's the best position. Regarding the Linford athletic gene.... I think there must be more than one Linford athletic gene because I played in the Linford bowl this year and witnessed first hand the Linford athletic genes in action... Hope ya'll are doing well tell everyone we said hi!
