Why I like the rain

NOTE: I know I am behind in my posting. I actually sat down and wrote this SATURDAY when it was raining. I just got around to uploading the picture right now. So pretend it is still raining.

The past couple of days it has been raining. Thank heavens! Rebekah's primary teacher told them that "if they prayed for rain, Heavenly Father would probably send it". My daughter has been praying all week for rain. Holy smokes, what if it didn't rain? How do you get into that discussion with a FIVE year old? Thank heavens it did rain. Shehas announced that it rained because she prayed. Phew. Glad the rain came!

There is a multitude of other reasons to love the rain. When it rains Richard will always make a fire and we make s'mores in the house. It is a fun tradition. The kids love it. I love it too. But lately I am loving the rain because I get to see Rebekah in this:
