{Big day for Jacob}

Wednesday was "The BEST day of my life" according to Jacob. It started out with the awards assembly at the elementary school.

First he was awarded Super Student of the Trimester. (Which was a surprise to us!) Then...

He received his certificate for Superintendent's List. Then...

He was awarded the President's Award! This award is given to students who earn a 4.0 for all the years your elementary school gives letter grades. (For our school, that means 4th and 5th grade.)

After all that excitement he went to his baseball game and had an AMAZING game. First time up at bat he knocked that ball way out there...past the center outfielder. His smile was so big as he rounded second base I was not sure he would ever stop smiling. He played great and announced on the way home from the game, "This was the best day of my life!"

Congrats Jacob! We are so proud of how hard you have worked. You are ready for Middle School and all the new adventures there.
