{I've been busy}

I've been busy lately. I've been making banners, putting 4 craft projects together for my ward's Super Saturday display, and taking fun D-A-D pictures for Father's day.

All that "forced" crafting got me in the crafting mood! So, I painted a mirror. I wish I had a before shot. It was an oh so average nothing special wood tone color, now it is an amazing green. I LOVE IT! No big surprise to anyone who has ever met me, because I heart green!

I am thinking about roughing it up and antiquing it up...what do you think?

And I painted/created the following from junk...errr I mean cool stuff from the Dollar Tree!

I must admit I love the way they came out. (Am I starting to sound like a broken record when I say that I am not "crafty smart", I just know where to go to get the great ideas? My inspiration for this came from somewhere deep into the clicking process on the web. I can't find the original site, but I started out at the CSI project website HERE.)

These were brass/black hammered candlesticks and a glass candle holder. All it took was some primer, paint and glue. (once again, wish I had a before shot!) I have them on my hall table with festive Red, White, and blue in them!

Believe it or not, my trigger finger from all this spray painting is not even sore. Maybe I need to alter something else. Hmmm what to paint next?

Love the banners! You need to teach me how! Since I have a job now working a whopping 3 hours a week I am going to start saving and I should be able to afford my new cricut in... on say, August of 2015!
