Jonah participated in something no other Heninger boy has done. The Rain Gutter Regatta. It was a hurry up and make it, glue drying on the way to the pack meeting kind of event for us. We were not given much time to prepare the boat, and we were SUPER busy this week. Oh well.

His first race. This is not quite the same hi-tech event that the Pinewood Derby is. Each boy blows until their boat reaches the end.

I love rain gutter regatta so much more than pinewood derby.
We make and race boats every year at day camp. In a 50 minute period you can make, decorate and race a boat. It's awesome!
And it's so much more about the boy's blowing skill than the dad's woodworking skill.
Congratulations, Jonah! I see a Engineering future...like father, like son.
