School is OUT!

My 5th grade teacher, Mrs. Simmons, taught my class a poem on the last day of school:

School's out, School's out
Teachers let the fools out
No more pencils no more books
No more teachers dirty looks!

I really can't explain why I can remember a ridiculous poem I learned three decades ago, but can't remember what I ate for lunch. Old timers disease setting in? Anyway, when that final bell rings and the kids go wild I am brought right back to my days in elementary school and that poem. I love watching the kids come flying out of school that last day. It is an expression of pure glee! We are so thrilled to be on to summer! Yahoo!

Hannah had an 8th grade promotion today. It was nice, but really warm in the sun! Hannah is really proud of her self so that is all that really matters. This picture was taken of Richard, Hannah, Rebekah and I right after the ceremony.

A couple hours later...the boys returned home after their last day. They are ready for summer!
