The kids (well the ones that are not currently sick with the flu...sorry Hannah and Jacob) are higher than a kite right now. The energy is in the air and you can't miss it! Do you think the fact that Dad yells at the top of his lungs, "SANTA'S COMING!!!!!!" fuels that fire at all? Hmm, neither do I!
This combination of sugar overload, anticipation, or sheer excitement hovers in the house like a revved up engine ready to roar into action. This is just one thing I love about Christmas. The kids laugh more (and cry more too the truth be told). Everyone goes to bed with a smile on their face.
Life is just fun right now (Except for the puke)... Feels weird to be baking more cookies for Santa (can you believe they ate all the ones previously made???) While Hannah and Jacob can't even eat. We are all excited to see all the Linfords in just two days! HOW FUN! Jonah is planning what he and Josh (his cousin) are going to do already! Cuuute!!

I hope your kiddos were better for all of the Christmas festivities! I am hoping for a calmer week this week. Totally get the "sugar High". We've had it alll week. Every time I turned around, my boys have had treats in their hands-lol!Have a happy & HEALTHY New Year!
