The kids spent last week with Richard's amazing sister Elsie Garner. She spoiled them rotten. Rebekah announced today that she wanted Aunt Elsie back. I am not sure she ever told them "no" while I was gone. Thanks Elsie. You are a gem.
Aunt Elsie brought treats for the kids from Grandma Peterson and herself. Rebekah just about fell in love when she pulled out these candy bars for each of them. (The apple doesn't fall far from the tree...)
Aunt Elise reports the following that was said while we were gone:
Rebekah to Aunt Elsie one morning, "That was a diet coke kiss!"
Jonah standing over his brother Jacob, who was over the toilet throwing up because he ate too many cookies, "Ohh, Jacob you can't get sick! You won't get "po-fect attendance!"
Rebekah to Elsie, "You are putting on sneakers? Are we going walking? You're gonna get skinny. My mom wanted to get skinny but she went to Maui instead"
