Each year my kids attempt to catch Lucky. They have never succeeded. They don't seem to mind since he leaves them gold coins all over the house to find, and a trail of magic to let you know where he has been.
This is Jacob's trap...with a siren circuit and an "enticing" coin (if you remove the coin the siren goes off)...

What a great tradition!
This is a great idea! I love making holidays special for my kids but I'm always stuck about what to do for St. Patrick's day. This year I did absolutely nothing, and Isabella was a little sad the leprechauns skipped our house! Next year I'll do better. Thanks for the inspiration!
You guys have so many fun traditions. That is great! Your kids are going to grow up with such great memories of home.
