{Random Christmas Pics}

I just don't know what my problem is lately, I can't get motivated to update the blog.  Anyway, Christmas as AWESOME this year.  We had a ton of fun.

They boys at Steph's house Christmas Eve

Damon and Steph

Richard and I
Hannah and Melissa - sorry not to include your photo.  NOT A SINGLE ONE was clear.  boo.

post pinata...Richard thought it made a cool hat

CANDY!

Presents.  If you are looking and think is that soda and pop tarts, yes it is.  What can I say, my kids ask for food for christmas every year.  Cream Soda and pop tarts.  It just would not be Christmas if Santa did not bring them that!

Ok, I was having a ton of camera issues this christmas.  I know this is not super focused, but it is the clearest of the first look at the loot!

Richard got a head lamp.  Here's the best thing, he uses it ALL the time.  He's so funny!

All in all we had a great time as a family.  Merry Christmas...in February!

{Gingerbread...people}

This year for Christmas we did something new...not a gingerbread house, but some giant gingerbread people.
All the kids, including Hannah, really enjoyed making their masterpieces. (Hannah did make one, but at a different time, boo to the busy HSer)

They could not wait to dig in and eat them.  Really, they all ate a large portion of their creations!

{Rebekah's Tree}

Rebekah decided to give her christmas tree in her room a makeover this year. I walked in her room and found she added all the American Girl doll stickers (leftovers from her party) as ornaments. It was really cute and right up her ally! What a smart cookie!

{Before and After}

Our family has a really fun tradition of a pinata on Christmas Eve.  This tradition started when I was a little girl, and my dad's sales territory included a little Mom/Pop store in LA.  It happened to be very close to Christmas and they gave him a pinata.  We cracked it open Christmas eve and the tradition was born!  As a child, I loved the pinata on Christmas eve!  I could not imagine Christmas with out one.  I really looked forward to it every year.
My kids have loved this tradition too!

This year Richard and I were in Walmart and we saw a left over Halloween pinata for $2.  We were like SCORE!  Cheap pinata.  Rebekah was not impressed with our shopping.  She thought otherwise of our purchase.  She could not bear the thought of a Monster pinata, so...
Before

After...She turned it into an adorable Snowman!  Way to go Rebekah!!

{Christmas Day]

The loot - not pictured is Jonah's new electronic drum set Santa brought and Jacob's new bike...(Sorry it is still the aftermath of my camera probs...but as I said before, it is all fixed now!)

Four kids all excited the big guy really came!

The "aftermath"...this took a while to recover from...but the hours of sheer laughter is worth it all.
