{Last day of School 2013}

Today was the last day of school. 
Jacob has finished Middle School! 
We had the honor of attending a great promotion ceremony for him today.

Four great friends.  Maria, Tyler, Daniel, and Jacob (if you noticed, yes he has TWO medals on his chest!  He did a wonderful job academically the past three years.  One medal is for straight A's all three years, the other is for Social Studies student of the year!

The last day also brings a fun tradition, busting through a sign into summer.  This year Rebekah made our sign.  Great Job Rebekah!!

To say I am a bit behind on blogging would be an understatement.  I am trying to back into a regular routine of blogging and capturing our little family's celebrations!
Jonah Earned his Arrow of Light.  He was pleased as punch to finally have his ceremony!

The nice young men who came from the council to help award Jonah his arrow and bridge him over.  Jacob was the only boy scout in attendance...wish we thought ahead to have him in uniform too!

This summer Jonah and Richard were wrestling on our bed.  Can you tell who came out the "winner"?  (And the winner is...Jonah's Elbow!)  This was the most "perfect" black eye you have ever seen!

Richard did a little project in the entry way for me.  I love it.  I forgot to take a before pic, but you can pretty much see here.  It was a blank wall.  The purple is the tape Richard used to "map" out the wall.

It was a date she has been looking forward to all week!

Our year was capped off with a great day. 
On December 31, 2011, Rebekah was baptized into the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

I deeply regret not getting a group shot or even a family shot!  Uggh.  I was not thinking!  Really, please don't ever bring it up to me.  I am still upset I goofed up!

So, of course I decided to torture myself by making CTR sugar cookies.  Just in case you are wondering.  I did NOT have a cookie cutter for a CTR Shield.  I did manipulate a pineapple can into one though!

I made about 50 of these little gems for her baptism! 

Yes it took a lot of time, but they were worth all the work. 

 Rebekah LOVED them.  Really on her special day that was all that mattered.

I just don't know what my problem is lately, I can't get motivated to update the blog.  Anyway, Christmas as AWESOME this year.  We had a ton of fun.

Presents.  If you are looking and think is that soda and pop tarts, yes it is.  What can I say, my kids ask for food for christmas every year.  Cream Soda and pop tarts.  It just would not be Christmas if Santa did not bring them that!

Ok, I was having a ton of camera issues this christmas.  I know this is not super focused, but it is the clearest of the first look at the loot!

Richard got a head lamp.  Here's the best thing, he uses it ALL the time.  He's so funny!

All in all we had a great time as a family.  Merry Christmas...in February!
