While I was off at work this weekend my FABULOUS husband decided to start a project we have been talking about for YEARS! I walked through the door Saturday night to this:
YAAAAAHHHHHHOOOOOOO!!! My exact expression when I laid my eyes upon this BEAUTIFUL scene.
He went to a tile class at Home Depot on Saturday. He is now and expert, right?!? This will be our first tile experience. I hope it goes well so he will sign on to redoing the entryway. We have not officially picked out the travertine yet. I bet you all can guess what I am doing Monday. I am very excited to be picking it out. I can't wait to get rid of this Lino! It is nasty and I have never liked it. I have wanted to re-do this bathroom since we bought this house almost 9 years ago. (Can you believe we have been here that long? Time flies!) We even bought a new vanity for this bathroom almost two years ago!!! (kind of sad to admit that...) We have been "storing" it in the garage that long. I am SO HAPPY this project has made its way to the top of the "to-do" list.
I can't wait to show off the "after pics" of Richard's amazing handiwork!

Jeff's going to go to that tile class soon, too. We are very much looking forward to replacing our vinyl with tile. He'll have to get some pointers from Richard on the tiling...and painting cabinets...and wood floor laying, etc. etc. !! :)
