I scheduled a family photo shoot. I should be thrilled, I will have the pictures in time for the Christmas card. No last minute panic. Someone else is taking the pictures so I am bound to get one good shot. Right? All should be right with the world.
But no, I can't relax. The panic of what to put this brood in has hit. I am now on the mad search for "coordinated" clothing. I detest this. Furthermore, I detest that I bring it upon myself. We have already done the black pictures (twice), the white pictures (twice), even a red picture. Will the world come to a screeching halt if I don't accomplish this? Probably not. But I never seem to make things easy for myself. This time I want...GREEN. Surprised? But how on earth am I going find the right shades of green for all of us? I will spend the next three weeks agonizing over this. I will probably lose sleep over it.
Add to my bucket that I started a diet, again. I'll leave it at that.
I need some serious mental health help.

I feel your pain. It is the main reason that I have only ever taken one official family photo...we did white! I think green is a great idea and so appropriate for you. Happy hunting!
I just noticed the mustached photos on the top. Where did you take those! They are so funny!
If Hannah wants to borrow a very cute green jacket I have one. I also have a bunch of green shirts and sweaters. Sure, they might be too big, but you can always clothes-pin her and tell her not to turn around.
Good luck!
Good luck! It is always stressful to get a family photo...my kids are usually crying when we arrive for the photo and then we need to pretend that we are all happy.
I so feel your pain on this and I have 2 less kids! Just make sure Richard stays untucked...make him fight his need to tuck.....if he is anything like my husband, he will come out with farmer john jeans and a tucked in shirt with a prominently displayed belt :)
