So my older sister, Carrie, has this ongoing joke about me. That I have to fast and pray before I buy a vacuum. I hate to admit how true this joke really is. I just sort of take my time, do my research, and look FOREVER until I find the exact perfect piece I am looking for. Whatever I envision in my head is out there...somewhere...
Carrie is the polar opposite. She will walk into one store and find something she is content with and furnish a whole room in nothing flat in one store! (That is how she furnished like 1/2 her house once...I wish I was more like her, but I am not.)
Why am I telling you all this? Do you remember Labor day weekend when my AMAZINGLY talented husband gutted the d/s bath?? That opened Pandora's box. I have been searching (stressing) ever since. Searching, for the right tile, the right towel bars, the right
towels... you get how hard this could be for a sick person like me, right???
So after being in way too many stores in search of the "perfect" curtain...I did it! Here it is! It pretty much screams LAURIE! The colors in real life are just beautiful. I just want to pinch myself it is so pretty.
I am in green HEAVEN!!! I wish I could say I have learned something from this process...But all I can admit to is this :
I am an old dog...that can't learn a new trick.

I love it. And that is what makes you - you. Don't ever change. Besides, when I need to know what type of appliance to buy, I know where to get the info!
I am a little jealous. I just cannot get that excited about a curtain. I guess that is why my house is not decorated, not does it have a style. I am trying to talk Steph and Jen into doing a decorating spree over the Christmas break. If I can talk them into hanging it up too that would be the perfect Christmas present ever.
Yes, that curtain DOES scream LAURIE!!! Can't wait to see the bathroom all put together...
